Full disclosure of the site's content sources and revenue model
VeoDrama presents video content that we did not produce and carries advertising from which we earn revenue. This section sets out both arrangements plainly, so that viewers, advertisers and rights holders understand exactly what this site is and how it operates.
All video content on VeoDrama is licensed and authorized by Beijing Weilai Datong Ltd.
What this means in practice:
VeoDrama independently curates the catalog. We select which series to carry from the licensed slate, organize them, and decide what appears in the new release, popular and trending sections.
Every English-language synopsis, series description and piece of metadata on this site is original editorial work written for VeoDrama rather than reproduced from licensor-supplied marketing material or from other platforms.
No licensor, producer or advertiser pays for a placement on this site, a position in any list, or a favorable description. Editorial placement is not for sale.
The site is funded entirely by advertising. It appears in two forms:
We select our advertising partners and apply the content restrictions available to us. We do not select or approve the individual advertisements they serve, and the appearance of an advertisement on this site is not an endorsement of the advertiser, its products or its claims. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.
Advertising is presented so as to be distinguishable from programming. An advertisement appearing around a series has no bearing on its placement in the catalog or on what its synopsis says.
Advertising partners may use cookies and device identifiers to personalize advertising and to measure it. Your control over that is set out in the Cookie and Consent Notice.
Video is delivered through third-party content delivery and hosting infrastructure, which necessarily receives your IP address and playback requests. Aggregate analytics are used to understand traffic, catalog use and playback performance. Both operate under their own policies, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our licensing arrangement requires us to report viewing performance to Beijing Weilai Datong Ltd. Those reports concern series and episode performance in aggregate and do not identify individual viewers.
